Newbies encompasses both the expectant "Madonna" image along with the fresh-out-of-the-oven cutie. The best time for either of these portraits is 1 - 1.5 months before & after birth although up to 6-8 months can be beautiful also.
When you book your maternity session with Doriguzzi you will also receive a complimentary newborn session as well. The best times for both of these sessions are within 4-6 weeks of birth.
The Young Ones
Did you ever think about when you've had your own photos taken when you were young? You most likely had the really early ones, then 'maybe' once a year until about 8 years old (when you made your First Communion or just because). Then, other than occasional snapshots, the next actual portrait was when you were getting ready to graduate high school. Whatever happened to you in those years in between? (Sorry if I'm not counting the 'gimme a big smile' annual, mass-produced, school pics.
Every child has something to celebrate during those 'hidden' years and, even if they don't, show them you love them.
The Older Ones
What we're really talking about here are your children (a.k.a. the 'kids', your 'babies) who are graduating from high school.
Our belief in creating images of High School Seniors is not to take pics of 'older' children but to create images of 'young adults' getting ready to enter a new world. We strive to show their passions, their favorite pastimes, their unique personalities.
Obviously there are a lot of other reasons for great portraits of the 'young adults' - sorry, I mean your older 'kids' - in your family between high school and getting married. They are experiencing major changes in their lives, interests, and passions which make for superb reasons to create a long-lasting image from this stage of their lives.
The 'Other' Ones
We all know that these 'other' guys & gals that share our homes are, without a doubt, part of the family. They deserve their own time in the spotlight just like the rest of you do.
The Whole Bunch
I'm not sure what to really say about family portraits - both basic and extended - except that, while I came from a loving family, we never had a family portrait taken in the 27 years before my father passed away from an aggressive cancer. Then it's just too late!
'Get-Togethers' can obviously mean a lot of different things - weddings, anniversaries, special times-of-your-life parties, etc.
Having personally photographed over 2500 events since 1969 (the studio staff probably went over the 15,000 mark themselves), we definitely have the knowledge and ability to cover your special event regardless of what it is, where it is, and how big it is.
Fine Art is a fickle thing! After-all, "art is in the eye of the beholder!"
IMO, Fine Art can be of people, places, or things - whenever I come across an idea with any one of those subjects that says to me "This is something special!". Sometimes the resulting image is very straight-forward and sometimes it requires a fair amount of work after-the-click to become what I saw in my mind in that potentially short moment before-the-click.
"Follow the Leader"
This is a GREAT photo taken this evening by my 10-yr old grandson who is apparently going to be a great photographer one day. This was his first time out with me and he shot a lot of really super images.
Having spent over two decades working as a Registered Professional Engineer with some of the top architectural-engineering firms around, I know what these firms are truly looking for in the images of their completed projects. Not only do they want a great image of the overall facility but they also need to be able to show future clients their masterful attention to the details of the project.
Many styles make up the topic of Commercial Photography - food, business portraits, modeling shots, magazine assignments, advertising images, products shots, etc. Many of these could probably simply fall into the category of portraits BUT, since they are not for personal use, they end up as business/commercial images.
Keep in mind that we have a "Repeat Client Rewards" program.
